Walking and other weekend news

Early Sunday morning and I was able to put Cecelia back to bed after her feeding without fits of crying!!! Yeah...but now I can't sleep.

But no worries because I'm so excited to tell you that Cecelia took her first steps by herself yesterday. Smile. Every infant is so individual and wil decide when they're ready for certain milestones, and yesterday Cecelia decided that at 8 mo: 21 days she was ready to take some steps on her own. She's been practicing for the past ~2 months, trailing along every piece of furniture in the living room and bedroom. What an amazing thing to witness and share with Cecelia and Mike.

It's been a relaxing weekend so far...Friday night watched Evan Almighty (2 thumbs up and good laughs), Saturday chores and college football (Huskers won which put Mike in a pretty good mood), and no plans definite for today. I'm trying to recover from a wheat reaction- sigh- so its good to rest up and stay down-wind of everyone. (Too much information?)

Attached is a photo from Friday taken on a quick walk (early winter in Kodiak), Cecelia- notice her two front bottom teeth and taking some steps on her own! (reverse the order-oops)
I'm going to try posting a video on the next blog post...fingers crossed.

Love to all, R
