My Grandmother, Marion Zelma Parker, passed away last Tuesday evening after a long battle with lung cancer. While I didn't plan to go to her funeral...I had thought that I'd said goodbye during our visit in March 2007...it felt 'right' to go and all the plans just fell into place. Was just meant to be. Grandma Parker fought hard to live, loved life and affected so many in her 84 years. Pics above are of Grandma holding Cecelia and surrounded by her loving daughters- Aunt Linda and my Mom from our March visit, the graveside funeral, the Harrison stone (Grandma's parents...relatives from 2 former Presidents), and a sign at a small general store in her home town. -R
