Last night, Cece, Mike and I went to a concert in Kodiak...The Duhks. This was their third visit to Kodiak and they didn't disappoint. So much fun...they had more interactive audience-band songs with wonderful instrumental segments. They now have a new singer Sarah Dugas and a new drummer, her brother, Christian Dugas. While she was quite good- strong but somewhat uncontrolled voice, I didn't quite get the chills I have previously with the former lead singer, Jessee Havey. (Where are you, Jessee? Hopefully, still singing.) But they have only just been together for ~1 1/2 yrs...still I hope they leave the bluesy music behind and continue with the bluegrass -soul- banjo vibe more. All-in-all we all enjoyed concert and hope to see The Duhks again soon. -R
