There has been a lot of bear activity around town lately. On Friday afternoon, from my office window, I watched a bear walk across the street and through my parking lot. The bear ended up on the hillside, when police and the state patrol showed up to scare off the bear. They shot loud shotguns to try to chase the bear off. He didn't go far; I saw the same bear from my office window a few hours later.
Cece's also been trying to get in as much berry picking as possible while the blueberries are still good.
