TGIF

Maybe it's the darkness (today there will be 6 hrs and 37 min. of daylight in Kodiak) or the pre-holiday rush and bustle, but this was a long week. TGIF

Hi friends and family, Just a few ramblings on the start of Friday: The Bourne Ultimatum was a good, action-packed, bloody movie. There is no comedy, deeper meaning or romance in it and is a thumbs up if you're in the mood for a "rare steak and beer" movie. We also enjoyed the new Harry Potter film this week. While it was fun to visually see some of the scenes, the book on tape is much better. The movie only has a splattering of scenes...but does not capture the depth of the characters or story as the book or book-on-tape does. I've been listening to the book on tape while driving in my truck...makes the already short drives in Kodiak, seem even shorter. It's been great to listen to and bring the story back to life for me!

Other ramblings include: my lack of sympathy for the now-caught baseball players who've been on steroids. Cry me a river...we are all responsible for our own actions including these millionaire baseball players. And last thought for the morning is that Cecelia now has 6 teeth (4 up top and 2 on the bottom)- YEAH! but I'm still breastfeeding...yeooooooooow! Pictures include trying to catch a glimpse on 'the teeth' this morning and Cecelia opening a present from Grandma Elaine.

Love to all and have a great weekend, R
