Can't believe the last time we posted was Monday...just a busy week I guess. Kodiak has been enjoying some glorious Spring weather. Temps in the mid to upper 40's, sun, light breezes, blue skies. So nice after the past gray month. Mike, Cecelia and I have been going outside after dinner to enjoy the nice weather together. A Frisbee game one night. Dinner with friends another...Prime rib with the Saltonstall clan after which Mike, Patrick and Zoya's Aunt Kathy and Uncle Roger did a batch of canned meat (elk, reindeer and other miscellaneous meat from last year's hunts). Cecelia devours the meat- tender, juicy, with very little fat.
Recently we got back a small print that we had framed... For my birthday last year, Mike gave me a gift certificate at a local frame shop. It's taken me almost a year to decide what to have framed...and finally decided to have a small print by Helen Simeonoff entitled "Sleepy Time Otter" framed. The frame cost ~4x as much as the print but overall we're very happy with it. Now just have to decide where to hang it.
