Ever since Mike and I moved into our little home here in Kodiak, we've wanted to get rid of the carpet and install wood flooring. For some unknown reason, the previous owners installed a cream carpet throughout the home...which doesn't work living on an unpaved dirt road or having 2 dogs and a cat. About 2 years ago, we found some great bamboo flooring at Costco in Anchorage and at last we've finished installing it. It's a beautiful warm color and we all love it.
