On Thursday, Kodiak enjoyed beautiful blue skies and warm weather. So with cough drops and tissues packed up in the truck, all 5 of us girls (Cece, Sophie, and the two dogs- Emma and Kenzie) headed to white sands beach for some healthy fresh air and a little exercise. And the effort was so worth it...sparkling water, bright blue sky, crisp air and plenty of room to run-roam and explore. Kenzie is getting a bit older and needed a lift to get back up in the truck but she loved swimming in the cold ocean water...probably felt good on her hips. Emma, our 'little' dog, raced across the beach with such beautiful joy while Cece worked hard to keep up with both dogs. Her yells of "Emmmmaaa...Kenzeeeeee come here" rang through the air but it was clear that she was loving her walk with the dogs. Hopefully this will become a Thursday routine. -R
