To continue with our Hawaii diary- On 2/7 our little group flew from Honolulu to the Big Island of Hawaii. This was not an easy venture as we had 6 pieces of luggage, 3 carry-ons and Cecelia. But we made it and finally arrived at our condo, #4307 in Sea Village. What a beautiful condo! Clean, spacious, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, ocean front, fully equiped kitchen. It's amazing the alternatives you can find on vacation that are much cheaper and sometimes nicer than you're basic hotel. Later that night on 2/7, we tried out the pool here, went grocery shopping and settled in. Friday 2/8 was spent exploring a small outdoor market, the Kona tourist shops, and a short drive around the region. Saturday, Mike and I discovered our new love of snorkeling! Went to a local beach known for its excellent snorkeling and I was able to rent a prescription mask to actually SEE the beautiful fish and sea turtles. We hope to go snorkeling a few more times before leaving on the 14th.
Pics include Mike and Cecelia in Kona- check out her new grin, Kona view from our condo, turtle seen snorkeling, Mike attempting to fish in Kona, and Cecelia consoling her dada after not one bite. Love you all, -R

Hi guys!
I'm LOVING the photos and narrative. Wish I was there. Aren't the sea turtles precious?
Anyhow, can't wait to have you back on the rock!!
Would you be able to bring me back a container of dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts? (or the toffee-chocolate ones...) That'd rock. I'd pay you back. :)
Smooth travels to you home!
Zoya
Hawaii has macadamia nuts? We'll try to find some.
Wish us luck,
Mike, Roxann & Cecelia
