We all arrived safe and somewhat sound in Maui Saturday night...Mike, Cece, Grandma Joanie, Grandma Judy, Grandpa Jerry and myself. But ohhh what a trip for everyone. Crowded seats, $2 drinks (soda, juice), cancelled flight (ours from Kodiak to Anchorage), late flights, Cece having a fever on our 5 hour Anchorage to Maui flight, separated seats (Judy and Jerry), Cece having her leg smashed into by the drink cart,... But we're all here now and recovering well. We're staying in a condo complex called Puamana which is turning out well. It's heaven to hear the birds, to feel the light breeze from the ocean and to be warm. All of our scrimping and saving have been well worth it to have these days here in Maui.
Pics include Mike and Cece playing with stickers while some fish was cooking on the grill, Cece with her cut finger (some early morning Cece 'trauma'), my mom trying to get a good picture, and a cute little critter seen on one of our walks after which we went shopping for butter and garlic. Love to all, R

Did Mike catch the fish? Was it a carp from the hotel goldfish pond?
I'm glad you made it all in one piece, and I feel for CeCe - I never got out of bed on Saturday with what I assume was the same virus. It made you REALLY REALLY tired more than anything else.
