Sunday afternoon. Cece is struggling to go down for a nap right now (yet she slept in my arms at the library 5 minutes ago- Sigh). Mike and his friends got a deer and he should be home soon. This morning Cece and I enjoyed apples- mine in an apple pancake and Cece preferred hers 'au naturel'. Some of my fondest memories include apples- my favorite birthday 'cake' was always an apple pie, picking apples off the trees on school field trips and with Elaine, my stepMom, and making apple cider and apple butter at the Geer farm with my Mom.
