This week's highs and lows

It feels so good to have made it to Friday. After a long, long week. I worked yesterday afternoon so am now a bit more rested to tackle some home projects, Cece, Sophie, etc. Working (at my paid job) is relatively easy compared to home life which is where the real work begins (breast feeding, diaper changes, potty training, baths, hugs, play, meals, grocery shopping, and then repeat...). Cece is one of the biggest joys in our lives but also frequently tests our patience, kindness and endurance. She is developing independence, confidence and joy. Her humour and sense of fun are wonderful. But when Cece, at age 2, clearly tells us "NO" or "I not going to" or lets loose with her ear-splitting martyr crying...sigh. Parenting is definitely not for the 'faint of heart'. Highs this week include Cece sleeping throughout the night, lows- Sophie getting up every 2 hours throughout the night. Highs- Cece behaved well when we attended a meeting at work, lows- Sophie pooped twice throughout the meeting. Highs- Sophie smiling, lows- Cece screaming.
Sophie is getting big and so cute. Above she is flexing her muscles...I couldn't decide which pic was cuter so I posted both. Love to all our family, friends, and all those suffering in Haiti... -R

Hey Peggy, how and where are you? Kodiak misses you too. What are you doing in March or April? We'll really be needing a PT then. Just a thought. And do you have a blog now...last time I checked your old one there were no new posts. Miss your great pics. Take care of yourself, -R
