Mike, Cece, Sophie and I recently returned from MN where we attended my brother Josh & Tensie's wedding. Wedding photos to follow but first pics of the girls and our wonderful family. Despite having a very late summer in Kodiak, we are still enjoying a great harvest of the plants we started this Spring. Cucumbers, potatoes, and carrots are ready to enjoy now and soon the peppers, eggplants, tomatoes and a few pumpkins will be ready to pick. Cece loves to go out to the green house to pick some cucumbers or dig up some carrots with Mike. Saw a few strawberries yesterday that are almost ready to pick and the mint we planted our first summer is thriving well and ready for Mojito's. As Aunt Rosella fulfilled her end of the bargain, here are a few pics of Sophie and Cece from the past few weeks. Sophie's walking with her push-walker and along furniture at 9 months. By 10 months, we predict she'll be walking the dogs around the neighborhood. Cece has started pre-school and loves it. She goes 3x/ wk and when she walks in her school, there's always a chorus of "Cece's here!!" More pics to follow. Love you Aunt Rosella, -R

It may come as a shock to some but Mike is obsessed with fishing. He has a passion for it that the cold Alaskan waters, persistent rain and long hours of patient wait have not squelched. As Cece and Sophie get older he'll be sharing more and more of his favorite sport with them (that's fishing, not college football).
